Making food for the breakfast is not
easy. People struggle big time, however, learning the procedure can help
them to prepare something to eat in the morning. As a beginner,
papering breakfast is much easier than preparing lunch or dinner. So if
you are one of those living in somewhere alone away from your family,
then follow the below guidelines to learn to make breakfast food at
least.
In this article, we will learn to prepare the world famous Giardiniera. Making Giardiniera hot is not too difficult; you prepare this recipe very easily by following the guide.
Before
we get into the preparation, let’s know about this dish first. Well,
Giardiniera is a mixture of different vegetables pickled in a vinegar
and oil mixture, which is usually used in sandwich, sometimes in
pizza as a relish. So basically, you can say, it adds flavor to the
boring sandwich, and makes it more delicious to eat. Not only the
sandwich, but you can have it on pizza as well.
So here is the recipe guide, which you need to follow –
Note the ingredients –
- Eight to twelve peppers, sliced
- Two green peppers, diced
- Two red peppers, diced
- One carrot, diced
- One celery rib, diced
- One yellow onion, diced
- One and half Cauliflower head, cut into florets
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- One and half cup stuffed pimento green olives, chopped
- One and half cup salt
- Two and half teaspoons oregano
- Half teaspoon celery seed
- Half to one teaspoon red pepper flakes for more "heat"
- Half teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
- One cup of apple cider vinegar
- One cup olive oil
Procedure –
In
a large non-reactive bowl, mix up the peppers, celery, carrot, onion,
and cauliflower florets. Once done, stir in salt and add 2 cup water to
cover vegetables. Try to refrigerate at least 13 hours and after that
try to rinse vegetables, so that the excess salt can be removed.
Now
in a medium bowl, mix up the garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, celery
seeds and of course, the ground paper. And add in vinegar and gradually
whisk in olive oil
until they are completely mixed. And after that add this to the
vegetable mixture and toss them well by adding chopped olives. Then just
keep that in jars it and refrigerate with oil/vinegar blend for almost 2
days. That is it!
