  • 150 gms – 1 cup strawberries trimmed and cut into 1 cm – ½ inch pieces

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Mix the strawberries, balsamic vinegar, sugar, and pepper in a bowl before thirty minutes to an hour before serving. Set aside at room temperature. Instructions

  1. Put the sliced strawberries in a baking pan lined with baking paper. Bake them in a pre-heated oven at 205°C – 400°F for about 15-20 minutes or caramelized. Remove it and allow it to cool a bit.
  2. Combine the roasted strawberries with the remaining ingredients in a medium pot.
  3. Boil it for few minutes and then reduce the flame and simmer for 30 minutes, frequently stirring to prevent it burning
  4. Use this BBQ sauce on your grilled meats and ribs; brush it on during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
